This Character Set was designed to attach to the Monkey Mitt Glove with Velcro. Unfortunately, we have run out of the Mitts and will not be producing more. In its place, you can use a soft, cotton glove. The hook end of the Velcro on the back of the monkeys should attach easily. You can also attach small, loop end Velcro pieces to the fingers of the glove using craft glue.
The set includes 5 characters, the words to the Rhymes and 6 Activity Suggestions.

Description
The Words to the Rhyme:
Five little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head.
Mama called the doctor,
And the doctor said,
“No more monkeys jumping on the bed!”
(Substitute 4, 3, 2, and 1 in place of 5 in each verse)
The Words to the Rhyme:
Five little monkeys sitting in a tree
Teasing Mr. Alligator
Can’t catch me, can’t catch me!
Then along came Mr. Alligator
Quiet as can be
SNAP! Right off the tree!
(Substitute 4, 3, 2, and 1 in place of 5 in each verse)
Sample Activity Suggestion: Let each child take a turn being the doctor and saying, “No more monkeys jumping on the bed!” during the rhyme. Talk about visits to the doctor and why you would go.
